I actually got a lot of writing today. I set out to write 6000 words and wrote 5722 only 278 short. The words came pretty easy today, probably because it was an action scenes I had to write. The scene from the earlier drafts were completely different which I am happy. I really like how that first fight scene came out. Then the chase through the city that I just finished was good; half way through writing the chase an idea popped into my head of something that would be great to happen. If I was still writing following my old detail outline I wouldn’t be able to do it. The chase was supposed to be through the city and get to where they were staying and get away, but now their guide has gotten himself captured and now Zack and Ryan are going to have to rescue him. How they are going to do this, I am not sure. I have my thoughts, but they seem to cliche, but we will see what a nights rest and a five and a half hour shift at Wally’s World does for the imagination. I am very happy with the words, I know what I wrote will completely change in the second draft, since the maps I am using will change by then. I will have a map making program soon that I will be able to make higher quality maps then I have. Only thing changing is the path they take, but I am sure what happens on the chase will remain the same.
